Algarve Tours is written by a small editorial group, not by a named guide. Every figure on a page (a price, a season, a licence number, a sighting rate, a duration) is taken from the operator's own page or from an official source and carries the date it was read. Nothing is ranked by commission. A named Algarve-based author, a licensed guide or a coastal naturalist, is being recruited; until that person is on the page, the site claims no field visits it has not made.

Operators are compared on what their own pages state: licence, group size, duration, price and cancellation terms, read on the date shown on each page. Reviews on third-party platforms are read for patterns but not reproduced. Where a fact cannot be checked against a source it is left out rather than guessed. Corrections with a source are applied on the page and the verified date is updated.
