Terms of use
Short, because this site does not sell you anything. Mostly it explains who you are actually dealing with when you book, and what a written guide can and cannot promise about a coastline.

This is a guide, not an agency
Nothing is sold here. When you book an activity, the contract is between you and the operator, or between you and the platform you booked through. This site is not a party to it, cannot change it, cancel it or refund it, and holds none of your money.
That is also why there is no booking form. If a page sends you somewhere to book, it says so.
Prices and dates
Prices are written as "from" figures: the lowest published adult price at the moment the page was last verified, which is stamped on the page. Operators change prices for the season, for group size, for private hire and for the pick-up point, so treat every figure here as a starting point rather than a quote.
If a price on this site is wrong, tell us. It is checked and corrected within 7 days, on the terms described on the methodology page.
The sea does not read websites
Coastal activities in the Algarve depend on swell, wind, tide and the operator's judgement on the day. A cave that is open in the morning can be closed by lunchtime, and a boat that is scheduled can be cancelled for weather. That is the operator doing its job, not a failure of this guide.
Nothing here is safety advice, and nothing here replaces the briefing you get from a licensed skipper or guide. Follow theirs, not ours. Whether an activity suits your health, your swimming ability or your children is your call, made with the operator.
What we are responsible for
For what is written here: keeping it honest, keeping it current and correcting it when it is wrong. That is a real commitment and it is written down in detail.
Not for what a third party does: the conduct, safety, licensing or cancellation policy of any operator, or the availability of any page we link to. Listing an operator is an editorial opinion formed on a given date, not a guarantee about your trip.
The writing and the pictures
The text on this site is written here and stays with its author. Quote a paragraph with a link back and there is no problem at all. Republishing pages wholesale, or feeding them into a scraper to spin out a competing guide, is not permitted.
Photographs are either taken on location or licensed from their photographers, and are not yours to lift with the text.
Law, changes and reaching a person
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, and nothing in them removes rights you hold as a consumer under it.
If they change, the date at the top changes with them. There is no notification list, because there is no list.
